EURO 2025 Conference in Leeds

Robert Gaugl, Luca Santosuosso, and Felix Auer took part in the 34th European Conference on Operational Research EURO 2025.

Our institute was represented at the 34th European Conference on Operational Research (EURO 2025) in Leeds. This international conference is a key event for researchers in the field of operations research and related disciplines.

As part of the conference, Robert Gaugl chaired a session titled Advancing Energy System Models. The session featured engaging presentations by ZeJun Ruan and Marilena Zampara from the National Technical University of Athens, as well as Felix Auer and Luca Santosuosso from the Institute of Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation (IEE), TU Graz. The session highlighted innovative approaches to energy system modeling and inspired lively and insightful discussions.

The positive feedback from participants highlighted both the high quality of the presentations and the critical importance of energy system modeling for addressing current and future challenges of the energy transition. We are pleased by the strong interest and recognition our work continues to receive in this field.
