Congress Award for EnInnov 2024

We are proud to announce that the 18th Symposium Energy Innovation (EnInnov) 2024 has been honored with the Congress Award by the City of Graz.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the entire EnInnov team – Robert Gaugl, Thomas Klatzer, Sonja Wogrin, Azra Ljubijankic, and Karina Lichtenegger – for their exceptional dedication, professionalism, and teamwork. Special thanks to Udo Bachhiesl, who has led the organization of the symposium with great commitment and experience.

This award recognizes not only the significant organizational effort behind the event but also the importance of energy as a key topic for our future. Over three inspiring days, more than 700 participants and around 250 speakers gathered at the Inffeld Campus of Graz University of Technology to share knowledge, ideas, and visions for a sustainable energy system.

We were also pleased that our Vice Rector for Research, Andrea Höglinger, participated in the award ceremony and delivered part of the award speeches together with Gabriele Katz from JOANNEUM RESEARCH, who gave the laudatory speech. Thank you both for your thoughtful and encouraging words.

Our sincere thanks also go to the City of Graz, represented by City Councillor Guenter Riegler, for this recognition and for hosting such a memorable award ceremony at Messe Congress Graz – with excellent food, great music, an outstanding performance by poetry slam champions Tommy and Annika, and the graceful moderation by Simone Koren-Wallis.
