Michael Opitz
Currently, I'm a PhD student and research assistant at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision at Graz University of Technology. I am under the supervision of Prof. Horst Bischof. Prior to that, I studied Visual Computing and received a Dipl.-Ing. degree (equivalent to M.Sc.) from Vienna University of Technology.
At the moment I'm especially interested in the task of face detection, where I'm focusing on the proper application and development of machine learning methods to address this and other related problems.
