You can choose from five options of guided city tours (including drinks and snacks), each with a different theme:
- Old Town Tour - Meeting point: Hauptplatz, City hall
I spy, with my little eye … hidden courtyards, narrow alleys and mysterious facades. In addition, we reveal lots of comical stories, and anecdotes of the city’s inhabitants and many glimpses of Graz life, back then and today. - Foodie Tour - Meeting point: Herrengasse 16
We explore food trends and specialties of the Graz cuisine and try out one or the other novelty right away. - From Street Art to Street Food - Meeting point: Lendkai 1
A tour off the beaten track, where we will not even take one look at the clock tower, because here we are talking about smaller and larger, in any case, the “other” sights of the city. - Pub Rally - Meeting point: Lendkai 1
Anyone for a beer or a glass of wine? We drop into some legendary bars of Graz, take a drink there, hear some hilarious drunk stories, and get to know a Graz original. - Pub Rally Lend - Meeting point: Lendkai 1
A pub crawl through the suburbs, Lend is different. There are many small shops, it´s home of craftsmanship, there is a history that goes back centuries and the locals still live for this area of Graz. The former red-light district of Graz is now home to Graz's creative scene, hip bars, cool shops and always new ideas.
ORAHS Beach Party - Tuesday 18th of July 2023
Start: 7 pm
Location: Murbeach, Makartgasse 30, 8010 Graz
We will have drinks at the "Murbeach" and the sporty participants can join the ORAHS beachvolleyball and tabletennis challenge.

Boat Trip - Wednesday 19th of July 2023
Start: 7:30 am
Meeting point: Lendkai 1, 8010 Graz (in front of the Kunsthaus Graz)

We start the day in the morning in Graz to board a bus to Carinthia.
The first stop will be the viewing tower Pyramidenkogel where you get a stunning view over the Karawanken mountain range and the Wörthersee.
For those who seek a faster way down the viewing tower the Europe’s tallest tunnel slide (https://www.pyramidenkogel.info/en/attractions/ ) is the way to go.
After the visit of the Pyramidenkogel we will head to Velden where you have some free time to grab a snack and to stroll around the city.
At around 1pm we will board the steamboat DS Thalia that brings us to Krumpendorf at the other end of the Wörthersee.
We will end our day at the Kropfitschbad to have dinner and enjoy a refreshing swim in the Wörthersee.

ORAHS Run - Thursday 20th of July 2023

For those who want to start active in the morning and look for an alternative way to socialize, we will organize a run through Graz. The route will be chosen so that everyone can join.
Conference Dinner – Thursday 20th of July 2023

We will enjoy delicious food and a stunning view over Graz at the Schlossbergrestaurant.

Accompanying Program
As ORAHS is like a big family, we want to go back to the tradition that the conference offers an accompanying program for your loved ones! So, we set up a potential program that is flexible and can accommodate your wishes and suggestions. We might also adapt it during the week when we know how the weather will be. We will discuss the program during the reception.
The accompanying program also includes all main side events (dinner, boat trip, etc).
Currently, we have planned the following:
Monday 17th of July 2023 – Herberstein Animal World and Garden Palace
Start: 9 am
Meeting point: Franz-Graf-Allee, opposite the opera, on the side of the city park
A journey through the world of animals, nature, history and art. Go on a safari through all continents and observe over 700 animals almost as if they were in the wild. The commented feedings, a castle tour and splendid blooming gardens promise an exciting excursion.
Tuesday 18th of July 2023 – Activities in Graz
Start: 10 am
Meeting point: Schlossbergbahn
The activities are a ride with the Schlossbergbahn, a visit of the Uhrturm, a “flight” through Graz in a 4D cinema and a museum visit.
Thursday 20th of July 2023 - Legendary Riegersburg Castle and fabulous Zotter Chocolate
Start: 9 am
Meeting point: Franz-Graf-Allee, opposite the opera, on the side of the city park
Riegersburg Castle sits magnificently on a steep volcanic rock overlooking the East Styrian hills. For centuries it was considered impregnable - today it can be "conquered" in just 90 seconds via the inclined lift.
After lunch your taste buds can continue to rejoice, because at the foot of the Riegersburg lies the Zotter Chocolate Manufactory, where the sweet temptation of numerous types of chocolate is surely irresistible. Be sure to plan some time for a visit to the "Edible Zoo".
