Bearing Structures Strength Test

The models, that were created during the course 'Bearing Structures 2' were part of a yield strength test. This year the second semester students had to design and build a roof. The assignment was to build a roof that was as light as possible and withstand a 30kg weight in the middle. The load was gradually increased and the yield load determined. The winning roof weighed only 1,1 kg!
