MatheGRAM stands for "Multiscale Analysis of Thermomechanical Behaviour of Granular Materials"

MatheGRAM is an ITN sponsored by the European Commission. It deals with the Multiscale Analysis of Thermomechanical Behaviour of Granular Materials, and will host 15 PhD researchers (ESRs) all over Europe.

1 ESR (PhD student) will be hosted at TU Graz, and 1 ESR will be hosted at our partner DCS Computing (Linz). Both PhD projects will be supervised by Stefan Radl. The projects related to TU Graz will start in May and October 2019, and deal with heat transport, as well as heat transfer in fluid-particle systems under extreme conditions (e.g., thermal radiation, mechanical compression).

MatheGRAM has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement MATHEGRAM No 813202.
