We are very happy to publish our book now. Therefore, in accordance with the theme of the book, we will organise a small release in the workshop of the Institute of Spatial Design. The organisation Diskursiv seeks to shed light on and attend to contested areas within the architectural industry, subsequently evaluating new approaches to potential solutions. The dwindling appreciation for physical modelmaking in an era of digitalsation is the problem that lies behind the first thematic focus, “Models”. This publication should be understood as a plea in favour of handcrafted modelmaking in the digital age.
