New study areas in the Main Library

There are now more and different study areas available in the Main Library.

Quiet areas for concentrated work: New individual learning spaces have been created by removing bookshelves in the areas with low ceilings on the second floor. Additional tables have been added to the reading room on the second floor to accommodate up to four people. All tables in the reading rooms on the second and fourth floors have also been equipped with additional power sockets.

Inviting lounge zone: In the middle of the textbook collection on the third floor, a spacious lounge area now invites visitors to relax, work and linger. At the same time, the lounge area has become a place for exchange and discussion — conversations are expressly permitted here.
