In the context of the event ‘Architekturtage 2012’ the temporary art project ‘Haus 180’ was placed in the public space in front of the HDA (House of Architecture Graz)
The object has the shape of a house with a gable roof which has been turned upside down. The ceiling above the ground floor can be accessed with a ladder. The house is constructed with cross laminated timber elements and placed on the pavement without additional anchors. Sufficient steadiness is ensured by filling the gable space with gravel.

The project was carried out by the Institute of Design and Building Typology. Ass. Prof. Dr. Andreas Trummer (ITE) was consulted for structural advice.
