Graz University of Technology was one of the first universities in Europe which did research and interdisciplinary education in the department of "Biomedical Engineering". Since its inception in 1972, the study has continued to develop.

In 2006, the diploma study "Biomedizinische Technik" was changed to the new bachelor-master scheme and expanded by the inclusion of biochemical content. This is expressed by the term "Biomedical Engineering".

The relevant documents will be provided in the course of each lecture. In order to improve our service for the students, information will also be updated via the TU Graz Teach Center (depending on the course). You can access the Teach Center directly from your TUGonline account.
