The field of work deals with the planning, implementation, operation and quality management of health care by health care facilities (e.g. hospitals, outpatient clinics), mobile services (e.g. emergency services, home nursing) and telemedical methods (e.g. patient monitoring) as well as hospital technology including the development of medical devices and methods with the aim of helping patients to cure or alleviate their illness efficiently, economically, without avoidable risks and with quality assurance.
