Simularr—simultaneous arrivals

“Simularr” is an interdisciplinary project between art and architecture that investigates a new collaborative artistic process based on simultaneity and spatiality. To this end, the project team works with invited visiting artists at different locations, including the Palazzo Russo in San Cesario (I), the Steinhaus by Günther Domenig on Lake Ossiach (A), and the Werkhaus Hoke in Carinthia (A). The interaction with the space influences the life and work of the participating artists, who realize artistic experiments that are closely interwoven with an architectural perception of space. The Palazzo fosters communality, the Steinhaus is sculpturally and acoustically appealing, and the Werkhaus Hoke through its simplicity emphasizes the ambience of work. A publication is planned for late 2025. In May and August 2025, exhibitions are to be held in the Neue Galerie Graz and the Steinhaus.
