New Hardware for Automotive Test Bed

The valuable and long term support of the company KS Engineers enabled the setup of a test bed for automotive applications at the Institute of Automation and Control. The test bed is already in action in the course of various student projects studying and developing, for example, modern wheel slip controllers. The picture shows Robert Bauer (from KS Engineers) and Markus Reichhartinger (from the institute) celebrating a first operation of the test bed with the new hardware sponsored by KS Engineers.

Best Poster Awards at the European Biomass Conference

Two posters which were created in the framework of a cooperation with "BEST - Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies GmbH is a K1 Competence Centre" were awarded at the European Biomass Conference. The titles of the posters are

  • Evaluation of the Transient Behaviour of a Fixed-bed Biomass Gasifier for Demand-oriented Electricity Production
  • Long-term Validation of a new Modular Approach for CO - Lambda - Optimization

Best presentation award

Markus Tranninger was awarded for the best presentation at the 54. Regelungstechnisches Kolloquium, Boppard, Germany, 02/2020.

Open Lab 2019

The Institute of Automation and Control (IRT) invites you to an "Open Lab" on November 14th. All interested students are invited to watch the live demos and get to know the institute and its staff. Students who are still looking for a topic for their Master's or Bachelor's thesis have the opportunity to inform themselves about possible projects. Catering will be provided.
