Accommodation

The in-person workshop will be held in the Kongress Center, Tauernplatz 1, 5630 Bad Hofgastein,  Austria, from Tuesday, 27 February - Friday, 1 March 2024.

Bad Hofgastein is a small village with a very prominent skiing region, where you can find a large amount of hotels, pensions and private accomodation of different prices. Nevertheless, we recommend to book the rooms as soon as possible and check the cancellation condition carefully.

Accomodation:
You can contact the Kur- und Tourismusverband Bad Hofgastein (badhofgastein@gastein.com, phone: +43 6432 3393 260) or use any booking page to book your accomodation. Furthermore, we have made reservation for a contingent of single and double rooms in three hotels, which can be booked with the code "TU-Graz" until 21 December 2023. After that date, the unused contingent will be cancelled. Booking of rooms is in the participant's own responsibility, and the organisation will not pay any cancellation costs of participants.

The following contingent is reservated (prices /person/night, including breakfast):
Hotel Alte Post (info@altepost-gastein.at): 7 double rooms (120,-/p./n.), 3 EZ (140,-/p./n)
Hotel das Gxund (auszeit@das-gxund.at): 10 rooms (110,- / p./n.) including the Alpentherme entrance fee
Hotel Rauscher: 15 rooms: single room (80,-/p./n.), double room (88,- for single use; 56,- for second person)

Parking is very limited in Bad Hofagstein, please ask at your individual accomodation. There is a public fee-based parking near the Alpentherme, but with high costs.
