Bilateral AI - A new level of artificial intelligence
In the FWF Cluster Bilateral AI, top AI scientists from JKU, TU Wien, WU Wien, TU Graz, the University of Klagenfurt and the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) are working on a new level of AI, a so-called ‘Broad AI’. The kick-off took place yesterday at the JKU. Sign up for the BilAI-newsletter to receive updates on jobs, news and events.

 

CVWW 2025: CSBME Best Presentation Award goes to Jovana Videnović (University of Ljubljana)
Ms. Jovana Videnović (University of Ljubljana) received the CSBME Best Presentation Award at the 28th Computer Vision Winter Workshop (CVWW) for her outstanding research work. Congratulations!

 

Interactive Career Guidance via VR Glasses
Together with Jugend am Werk Steiermark, the Game Lab Graz at TU Graz has developed a VR application in which young people can get to know various apprenticeships better.

Cybersecurity Scholarship
The aim of the cybersecurity scholarships is to support excellent international students who have completed their Bachelor's degree at another university and come to TU Graz to specialise in cybersecurity. A full scholarship means that the student receives € 4,000 per semester over a period of two years upon proof of success.

 

Gründungsgarage Accelerator-Programm
In the Gründungsgarage Accelerator Programme, you or your team will work for one volume (semester) on the further development of your business idea and will be supported by our interdisciplinary network.

 

Development of a Joint Course (online, blended)

Förderpreis des Forums Technik und Gesellschaft
The Forum Technik und Gesellschaft awards an annual prize for dissertations and master's theses at Graz University of Technology with particular social relevance. 

 

OCG Förderpreis 2025
The prize is awarded for outstanding master theses in the field of computer science, business informatics and their applications. The prize is endowed with 2,000 euros. 

 

Scholarship David-Herzog-Fund
The David-Herzog-Fond supports the work of scientists, students and artists through four program tracks and is supported by all Styrian universities since it was established in 2005.

Doctoral Examinations

Info: Candidates can take the final examination (presentation and oral exam) online via video conference call (e.g. Webex) if all parties involved agree. The requirement of publicity can be ensured as follows: Candidates may distribute the meeting link; requests to participate in the video exam can also be sent by e-mail to the chairperson of the exam commission.
