In-situ sensors for automotive exhaust gases

The research activities of ASSIC Austrian Smart Systems Integration Research Center focus on intelligent system integration based on micro- and nanotechnologies. Aim of the project is to establish novel methods for the integration of functional modules into innovative photonic measurement systems and the development of the required design methods and technologies. It comprises innovative and well-established approaches for the elaboration of photonic sensor concepts, which allow a fast and miniaturized detection of selected measurement substances such as trace gases or aerosol particles.
