The Light Life project looks into which demands users of different genders and ages have on LED lighting technologies and how future product development could take them into account by varying and combining controllable product properties. By investigating gender-specific and age-related differences in the impact of various lighting situations on people, it is hoped to support a trend in lighting technology that will increasingly provide for further psycho-physiological functions besides its purely illuminative purpose.
