Who is it for?

Professionals in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Embedded Systems who wish to acquire or strengthen their competencies in hardware security. It is also aimed at recent graduates or final-year students in these fields.

The program is specially designed for professionals and students working in—or aspiring to work in—R&D, hardware validation and verification, product security, secure architecture design, or specialized consulting, as well as those needing to stay current with new security standards and regulations.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students are able to …

  • Identify and analyze vulnerabilities in embedded circuits and systems, including physical and side-channel attacks.

  • Apply hardware security primitives to protect systems.
  • Design and implement hardware countermeasures to increase the security and reliability of electronic devices.
  • Evaluate and document security risks in IoT environments, cyber-physical systems, and embedded platforms.
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams to develop hardware security solutions for research projects or corporate environments.
  • Integrate best practices and hardware security standards into the design and validation process of electronic products.
