• You remain enrolled and continue your studies at your home university as usual.

• Select your virtual course: Available courses are published in the Unite! Student Catalogue or browse through our GreenChips-EDU Course Catalogue.

• You apply for a VECP course via your home university (via your programme office, academic adviser, or international office).

• If your home university has agreed to recognise the course, contact the responsible professor/lecturer at the host Unite! university and request admission.

• The host university reviews your application and makes the final admission decision.

• When your admission has been granted, you will be enrolled at the host unversity and then you can attend the course online, alongside your regular timetable.

• You complete the assignments and assessments required by the host university.

• If the course carries ECTS credits, these can be documented in your Transcript of Records and, with prior approval, recognised towards your degree at your home university.

Recognition rules vary by institution and degree programme. Before you apply, be sure to:

• Check with your programme office, academic adviser, or international office whether the course can be recognised.

• Clarify ECTS credits, grade transfer, and whether the course counts as elective or compulsory.

• Each university is responsible for its own selection and recognition process.

• Make sure to plan ahead: allow at least one month of lead time before the start of the course prio to semester start.

• Please pay attention to the application deadlines, e.g. for TU Graz courses:

  • 31 October (for the following winter semester)

  • 31 March (for the following  summer semester)

• Calls and updates are usually announced via news posts on the Unite! website.
