Computational Material Science

Why is this material a superconductor, and that one is not? And how can we deliberately modify materials to enhance their properties? Computational material science using ab-initio calculations can answer these questions. more...

Computational Material Design - Superconductors

We employ state-of-the-art computational methods to describe physical phenomena in materials, in particular superconductivity and lattice dynamics, completely from first principles. We further utilize the predictive power of these approaches to model and design new materials.
