In the FC-Core project, electrodes are manufactured based on developments at Graz University of Technology and the amount of platinum in the system is further reduced by using an innovative and cost-efficient catalyst. Using a combination of simulation and experiments, cell components are developed and dimensioned, then produced, tested and evaluated regionally. The project's proximity to applications will increase the visibility of Styria as a land of innovation and stimulate the establishment of spin-offs.
