Mercedes Linares Moreau graduated as Lic. in Physics in the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 2013, and received her PhD degree in Science & Technology: Physics at the University of San Martín (UNSAM) in march 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Pablo Levy and Prof. Leticia Granja. She worked in the Condensed Matter Physics Department of the Argentinian Council of Nuclear Research (CNEA), collaborating with the Chemistry of Nanomaterials group from the same institution. During her PhD, she specialized in the physics of electrical transport in mesoporous oxide thin films and metal-oxide nanocomposites, using multiple Scanning Probe Microscopy techniques as a main tool for local characterization. Since 2018 she joined Prof. Falcaro group as a Postdoc to research on heteroepitaxial growth of oriented MOF films and patterns with promising applications in optical, sensing and microelectronic devices.
