Erika Iveth Cedillo-González

Erika Iveth Cedillo-González graduated in Industrial Chemistry (2007) and received her M.Sc. degree in Materials Chemistry (2010) at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico. Later, she continued working on her PhD-thesis at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia (Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Cristina Siligardi and in 2014 she received her doctoral degree in Multiscale Modelling, Computational Simulations and Characterization in Material and Life Sciences. Currently, Dr. Cedillo-González is part of the Sustainability and Functionality of Ceramic Materials research group at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico. Her task is the synthesis and characterization of photocatalysts and their application for the degradation of pollutants. During her stay in the group of Prof. Paolo Falcaro, at Graz University of Technology, Austria, she focused on the evaluation of TiO2 thin films for the degradation of several types of pollutants.
