Efwita Astria

Background: 

Efwita Astria comes from Indonesia, she was an awardee  of Indonesian Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) Master  Program in Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), 2013.  She has graduated her M.Si  in chemistry, 2015. Next she worked as a research assistant in laboratory of Material and Catalysis at chemistry department of  ITB from 2015 to 2017. 2017, She is selected as the recipient of  Ernst Mach-Grant – ASEA-UNINET scholarship to follow the PhD program in Austria. She joins PhD program In Graz University of Technology under supervision of Prof. Paolo Falcaro.

Research Interest:

Her research focuses on material particularly Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and catalysis. She has worked in synthesizing material especially MOFs and studying their catalytic activity on some organic reaction related to converting biomass to fine chemical e.g. esterification, oxidation, and epoxidation reactions. Her next research focuses on MOFs biocomposites.
