The 22nd International IGTE Symposium on Computational Methods in Electromagnetics and Multiphysics (IGTE’26) will be held in Graz, Austria, hybrid on-site and online from September 20 – 23, 2026. The aim of the IGTE Symposium is to present and discuss recent developments in

  • Computational Electromagnetics (Methods and Applications)
  • Multiphysical Aspects in Electromagnetics
  • Optimization and Inverse Problems in Electromagnetics
  • Material Modeling in Electromagnetics

Special sessions are planned on

  • Magnetic Losses in Laminated Cores, chaired by Christophe Geuzaine and Manfred Kaltenbacher
  • Machine Learning-Based Methods for Modeling, Optimization and Inverse Problems in Electromagnetics, chaired by Sami Barmada and Alice Reinbacher-Köstinger

Additionally, a PhD workshop on the topic of optimization is scheduled right after IGTE’26 (September 24, 2026). More information on this workshop will be available on the website soon.

The working language will be English.

Please create an account in our conference management system to receive all important information concerning IGTE’26 directly. Memberships (ICS member, PhD Student) can be specified when registering for IGTE’26.

All information on the one page digest can be found on the website (see templates).

Authors of accepted papers are invited to submit a six-page full paper.  A selected number of papers will be published in COMPEL, the International Journal for Computation and Mathematics in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Issue 6, Vol. 46, 2027, after a peer reviewing procedure, all other papers will be published in the IGTE’26 Conference Proceedings

For further details, please refer to the website or feel free to contact the organizers directly (igtesympnoSpam@TUGraz.at).

We are looking forward to meeting you in Graz in autumn 2026.
