  • 15 min oral presentation
  • 5 min discussion

The schedule for keynote speakers is as follows.

  • 35 min oral presentation
  • 10 min discussion

We kindly ask you to adhere to your assigned presentation time. To prepare your presentation there will be a 5 minute break between each session. During this time you can upload your presentation on the provided presentation device and test it. Due to the hybrid mode of the event, usage of the provided presentation device is mandatory for every speaker. After each session your presentations will be deleted from the device.

Requirements for presentation files

The provided presentation device operates on Windows 10 and uses Microsoft Office 2019, as well as the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Please use only .ppt, .pptx or .pdf file formats for your presentation slides. With other formats we cannot guarantee that the presentation are displayable on our devices and they may not be streamed to the online participants. Please save your presentation file on a USB drive for transferring the presentation. Alternatively, you can send us your presentation at least 2 days before your talk via email and we will upload it to the presentation device for you.

If you require any special software or equipment for your presentation, please inform us as early as possible (esat22@tugraz.at).

Hybrid format information

ESAT 2022 is held as a hybrid event, consequently each presentation is also streamed live to the online participants of the symposium. For that purpose we offer you a spotlight remote control which you can use instead of an ordinary presenter. This has the advantage that your laser point is transferred directly to the screen and is therefore also visible on the broadcasted presentation.

Information for your poster presentation

Posters should be plotted in size DIN A0 [width: 841, height: 1189 mm] in portrait orientation. When designing your poster, please consider that it should be easily readable from a distance of 2 m and that the essential information should be comprehensible without additional explanation.

Please stick to the assigned spaces for your posters and mount the posters no earlier than the morning of the day of your poster session.
Material for mounting the posters will be provided.

Poster Print

We would strongly advise to pre-print your poster at home and take it to Graz. If you want to print your poster directly in Graz, please be aware that there is no on-site printing service at the conference venue. There are, however, multiple print shops in Graz available, for example:

If you need them, please get in contact with the print shops before your arrival so that they can print your poster in time.
