Course structure

Within the Bachelor programmes "Mechanical Engineering" and "Mechanical Engineering - Economics", the basic principles of thermal engineering are communicated in the mandatory lecture “Thermal Engineering I”.

Within the Master programmes a focus on “Energy Engineering” is offered, comprising the following mandatory lectures
  • Thermal Engineering II
  • Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning
  • Energy and Environment related Measuring and Testing
  • Informatics in Energy and Environment
Furthermore, several elective courses - also for students from other master courses such as Chemical and Process Engineering and Civil Engineering Sciences - are offered:
