The course "Testing Technology and Laboratory Tutorial in Hydraulics" deals with hydraulic / physical models, the comparison to numerical models, hybrid modelling, model similarity and model laws, metrology, measurands, measurement and control engineering, practical measurements, data evaluation, -analysis and - assessment and finally with the presentation of the measurements.
The students should learn how to perform practial measurements in a hydraulic laboratory, and to analyze and evaluate measurement data. The basics of physical modeling are taught theroretically and can be applied directly in the laboratory.
