The small-scale tunnel is an open circuit tunnel of the Eiffel type. The 30 kW powered axial fan is located at the inlet, while the closed test section with a cross sectional area of 0,5 m x 0,75 m forms the outlet of the open circuit. This tunnel is mainly used for preliminary tests at small model scales and for calibration purposes due to the high uniformity of the velocity.
