FamoS - Bicycle transport models to assist reorganizing planning of urban road space To strengthen active forms of mobility, it is necessary to adapt the road network in a way which allows optimal usage in spatial as well as temporal respect. For planning and (re)organization of public areas, suitable data and innovative planning tools must exist for these user-groups. Therefore the present project “FamoS” should initially develop a bicycle traffic demand model for the example cities Graz and Salzburg, enabling route-fine evaluation of the bicycle traffic demand integrating expedient data. The aim is to develop a multimodal demand model for analysis and prognosis of bicycle traffic demand as a planning and simulation tool. Duration: September 2016 - August 2018 Persons of TU Graz
