On the occasion of Em. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Josef W. Wohinz's 80th birthday, the Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management (former IBL) is hosting its first alumni reunion in its over 50-year history. The head of the Institute Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christian Ramsauer is pleased to invite all graduates who have successfully completed their diploma, master's, or doctoral thesis on June, 7th 2023 at the Schumpeter Laboratory for Innovation.

The event will begin at 10:30 am with a reception for all alumni, followed by an introduction to the institute and a discussion session among the alumni. This provides an opportunity for all alumni to exchange their experiences at the institute and in the business world and to discuss current developments. The program continues with a look at future projects and developments at the institute. Participants can then expect culinary delights and guided tours of the two locations, which provide the opportunity to learn more about the institute's current research fields and activities.

Following the Alumni Reunion, the annual Innovation Gala begins at 4:00 pm. Based on the theme “Innovation in Academia” innovative ideas and product prototypes from selected innovation projects carried out at the institute by students will be introduced.
