In this unusually designed catalogue, Kapfenberg-born Wolfgang Heusgen introduces a selection of his own works created in the scope of his teaching activity in the Department of Architecture at Graz University of Technology. Heusgen, who is a trained metalworker, has been teaching a seminar titled "Arbeiten mit Stahl" (Working with Steel) for over twenty-five years now, so his works are also steel and welded sculptures. The photos by Helmut Tezak - who has been photographically accompanying Heusgen for nearly thiry years - show the works immediately after completion, but also with "traces of age." Texts by Friedrich Achleitner, Günter Holler-Schuster, and Rudolf Kedl complement the pictures. Short, personal notes "narrate" the genesis of the sculptures. A very personal book that inspires joy!
