Project Leader and Supervisor
Prof. Trimmel obtained his PhD from the University of Technology in Vienna in 2000. After post-doctoral research stays at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris and at the University of Padova in Italy, he joined the Institute for Chemistry and Technology of Materials of the Graz University of Technology. In 2019, he was appointed as a full professor. His research focuses on the synthesis of functional polymers and new materials for photovoltaics, with special emphasis on inorganic-organic hybrid solar cells, organic solar cells and perovskite solar cells.

Julirose currently works at the Research and Technology House of TU Graz, where she facilitates multiple EU-funded Projects.  She obtained her Phd in Mechanical Engineering from University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she became an expert in Sustainable Manufacturing and had secondment research stays at Keio University, Japan and TU Munich, Germany.  Prior her Research career, she worked as an Industrial Engineer at Intel.  She enjoys traveling and discovering cultures through food.

Elisa Baioni is a posthumanist philosopher with a strong passion for ecology and the natural sciences. She completed a specialized course in Science Communication at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste. After gaining several years of experience in children's publishing, educational workshops, and game-based learning, she now works in the Communication Office at the Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CERIC-ERIC).

After studying economics and business administration (Heidelberg, Graz), I worked in medical technology procurement & administration. I have been at TU Graz for 10 years, including 3 years at the ICTM. I am passionate about sports (handball and golf), theatre and good conversation.
