The Insitute of Rock Mechanics and Tunnelling invites you to join this year’s Barbara Celebration on the 28th of November, 2025!
From 4:00 pm, you will have the opportunity to tour our newly renovated and modernized laboratories. Beginning at 5:00 pm, there will be a mulled wine stand in the courtyard "Alte Technik". The official opening of the Barbara Celebration will take place at 6:00 pm HS II, followed by a series of short presentations:
- Experiences of our alumni as they begin their professional careers
- Introduction of the new Master’s program Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering: RMT Roadmap
- Introduction of the "Zeichensaal Geotechnik"
- Introduction of the "ÖIAV Regionalverein Süd"
At around 7:00 pm, the buffet will open and the evening will conclude at 11:00 pm.
