iMOOX Introduction into Green Process Engineering

We are happy to announce that our iMOOXs Introduction into Green Process Engineering is online. The MOOXs is part of the English taught Master program Green Process Engineering and is thought as an introductory lesson.
The MOOC covers four thematic areas: definitions and terminology, subsystems of the bioeconomy, transformation pathways and technologies, and practical examples from industrial practice. For each of the four thematic areas, between four and six videos are available, explaining the respective topic in more detail and providing additional information. The aim of the course is to provide an overview of the terms used in connection with "green process engineering," bioeconomy, the circular economy, and industrial ecosystems. The subsystems of the bioeconomy, such as the wood-based, water-based, and plant-based bioeconomy, are described. The transformation pathways defined by the European Commission and the relevant measures for achieving zero emissions by 2050 are then summarized, before some relevant examples from industry are presented.
