Reallabor – Experiences with digitalization at TU Graz - April 07th, 2021. 13:00-15:45

How was the sudden digitalization at TU Graz, necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic, experienced by students and staff in spring 2020? The project "Reallabor" sought answers to this question. The research team will present the results in an online event and discuss possible future concepts of a digital university together with you. Mobile app generates data for the energy management of the future

As part of the GameOpSys research project, people were asked to document their own energy consumption using a study app. The research group "Intelligente Energiesysteme und Cyber-Physical Systems" at the Institute of Software Technology uses this data for modeling and optimizing future energy systems.

FFG: Energy Research- 7th call for proposals
The aim is to expand technological competencies, pick up on new trends and strengthen Austria as a location for clean energy technologies. This call focuses on research and development of innovative materials, technologies, systems and concepts. Topics of the call are: Energy systems and grids; Industrial energy systems; Storage and conversion technologies; Digitalization as a cross-cutting technology. Deadline: April 15, 2021

Artificial Intelligence Dependability Assessment - Student Challenge
Siemens Mobility aim to attract AI-learning students to contribute their knowledge and ideas to improving safety decisions in Mobility! Students are encouraged to develop an AI model for a simple classification problem with demanding safety requirements. A total of 10,000 EUR in prize money awaits the best and most reliable AI models. Deadline: May 02, 2021

Info: Candidates can take the final examination (presentation and oral exam) online via video conference call (e.g. Webex) if all parties involved agree.
