Online Study Abroad Fair 2021 - March 17, 2021. 10:00-15:00

The annual Study Abroad Fair provides students with all information on european and worldwide mobility programmes and scholarships of TU Graz. In addition to the main presentation on the different mobility options offered by TU Graz, separate question and answer sessions will be held concerning all mobility programmes.

 

WomenTalks: Women in Technology - March 26, 2021. 14:00-17:00

WomenUniverse is the forum for women in the alumni network of TU Graz, for graduates, students and all women interested in the connection between science and business, for inspiration and interaction, for sharing experiences, for telling their own story, for support in shaping their individual future.

 

Reallabor – Experiences with digitalization at TU Graz - April 07, 2021. 13:00-03:45 pm

How was the sudden digitalization at TU Graz, necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic, experienced by students and staff in spring 2020? The project "Reallabor" sought answers to this question. The research team will present the results in an online event and discuss possible future concepts of a digital university together with you. TUbe: Release of lecture hall recordings

Currently, lecture hall recordings are published directly on TUbe. As of summer semester 2021, teachers will be able to/must release their videos themselves. Initially, the videos will only be visible to teachers of the corresponding TC course.

 

International students: take note!

Our peer advisor Mariella Steinkasserer helps you with questions about study-related topics. Therefore, there is a social meeting every week (every Thursday at 5 pm), where incoming students can meet, can ask questions or just chat a little.

Grants, Open Calls
 

AK STMK funding for digitalization
Each project has the opportunity to receive up to 200,000 euros in funding. An external advisory board evaluates the submitted projects. Projects can be submitted at any time. Two funding rounds are planned for 2021. The focus this time is on the area of continuing education. Deadline: March 31, 2021

FFG: BRIDGE - 33. Call
Fundamental projects from scientific research and from the exploiting industry are funded. The funding for science in cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises is up to a maximum of 80%. The program is open to all research topics. Deadline: March 31, 2021

FFG: Energy Research- 7th call for proposals
The aim is to expand technological competencies, pick up on new trends and strengthen Austria as a location for clean energy technologies. This call focuses on research and development of innovative materials, technologies, systems and concepts. Topics of the call are: Energy systems and grids; Industrial energy systems; Storage and conversion technologies; Digitalization as a cross-cutting technology. Deadline: April 15, 2021

Artificial Intelligence Dependability Assessment - Student Challenge
Siemens Mobility aim to attract AI-learning students to contribute their knowledge and ideas to improving safety decisions in Mobility! Students are encouraged to develop an AI model for a simple classification problem with demanding safety requirements. A total of 10,000 EUR in prize money awaits the best and most reliable AI models. Deadline: May 02, 2021

Doctoral Examinations

Info: Candidates can take the final examination (presentation and oral exam) online via video conference call (e.g. Webex) if all parties involved agree. The requirement of publicity can be ensured as follows: Candidates may distribute the meeting link; requests to participate in the video exam can also be sent by e-mail to the chairperson of the exam commission.
