Colloquia for our Professorship in Biomedical Imaging

It is a pleasure to invite you to the colloquium for our Professorship in Biomedical Imaging. The public part will be (among other topics) a short educational presentation at Bachelor‘s level 2rd year in Biomedical Engineering on topic Fundamentals of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

 

Vacation job program „T³UG – Teens treffen Technik“

For employees at our institute there is the possibility to inspire vacationers for natural sciences and technology. Students aged 15 and older can apply for vacation jobs at the FIT Info Day.

 

TU Graz SciPix: Research photo competition

A research photo competition that’s been organised by TU Graz to focus the spotlight on the diverse scientific work being conducted at the university. All TU Graz employees are invited to submit photo entries that show ongoing or already completed scientific work at TU Graz. Submit a photo until 30 April, 2021, for a chance to win 1,500 euros or a TU Graz Sunnybag.

Science Park Start-up Idea Competition
Every year Science Park Graz organises the Start-up Idea Competition to inspire and encourage entrepreneurs of all ages and backgrounds to realize their dreams. This is your opportunity to release the potential of your idea and be in for the chance of winning a cash prize of €2,000 in one of six categories. Deadline: February 28, 2021.

Women's STEM Award 2021
For the eighth time, Deutsche Telekom praises the Women's STEM Award. STEM graduates from all over the world can submit their thesis with focus on one of the strategic growth areas: Cloud, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Networks of the Future. The best thesis will be awarded 3,000 euros. In addition, each innovative topic will be awarded 500 euros. Your bachelor or master thesis is (almost) completed? You studied a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)? Perfect. Apply until March 14, 2021 with your thesis and convince the jury!

Promotion Award 2021 of the Forum Technology and Society for dissertations and master theses
Briefly argue (3000 characters) why your dissertation or master thesis is or can be important for society. Send your arguments and convince the competent jury. Deadline: March 15, 2021

Doctoral Examinations

Info: Candidates can take the final examination (presentation and oral exam) online via video conference call (e.g. Webex) if all parties involved agree. The requirement of publicity can be ensured as follows: Candidates may distribute the meeting link; requests to participate in the video exam can also be sent by e-mail to the chairperson of the exam commission.
