Due to the coronavirus, doctors are not only researching vaccines, but also treatment methods. Researchers face a particular challenge: the incredible amount of data. Therefore, our Know-Center shall help to find ways for data exchange. Companies should also be able to benefit from this development.

 

More privacy for using WhatsApp and Co.

Two of our cryptography experts Daniel Kales and Christian Rechberger developed, together with their colleagues at Darmstadt University of Technology, privacy-protecting security software for mobile messenger services. "ContactGuard" was awarded the 8th German IT Security Award 2020.

Women's STEM Award 2021
For the eighth time, Deutsche Telekom praises the Women's STEM Award. STEM graduates from all over the world can submit their thesis with focus on one of the strategic growth areas: Cloud, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Networks of the Future. The best thesis will be awarded 3,000 euros. In addition, each innovative topic will be awarded 500 euros. Your bachelor or master thesis is (almost) completed? You studied a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)? Perfect. Apply until March 14, 2021 with your thesis and convince the jury!
