Project of local universities aims to simplify secure exchange
Due to the coronavirus, doctors are not only researching vaccines, but also treatment methods. Researchers face a particular challenge: the incredible amount of data. Therefore, our Know-Center shall help to find ways for data exchange. Companies should also be able to benefit from this development.

Martin Ebner became Styrian of the day in local newspaper
The scientist was portrayed in the Kleine Zeitung because of his development IMooX, which is an Austria-wide platform where digital teaching content of higher education institutions is managed. Ebner has been involved with digital forms of teaching and learning for more than 20 years now.

Call for proposals: CYD Fellowships – A Talent Program for Cyber-Defence Research
To promote research and education in cyber-defence, the EPFL and the Cyber-Defence (CYD) Campus have jointly launched the “CYD Fellowships – A Talent Program for Cyber-Defence Research.” The third call for proposals is now open with a rolling call for Master Thesis Fellowship applications, and with a deadline of 15 February 2021 (17:00 CET) for Doctoral and Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship applications.

Women's STEM Award 2021
For the eighth time, Deutsche Telekom praises the Women's STEM Award. STEM graduates from all over the world can submit their thesis with focus on one of the strategic growth areas: Cloud, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Networks of the Future. The best thesis will be awarded 3,000 euros. In addition, each innovative topic will be awarded 500 euros. Your bachelor or master thesis is (almost) completed? You studied a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)? Perfect. Apply until 14 March 2021 with your thesis and convince the jury!

Promotion Award 2021 of the Forum Technology and Society for dissertations and master theses
Briefly argue (3000 characters) why your dissertation or master thesis is or can be important for society. Send your arguments and convince the competent jury. Deadline: 15 March 2021

Doctoral Examinations
