• The pandemic barely effected staff requirements in the above fields.  

2. Estimated human resources in Styrian companies:

• Staff requirements for data science & cloud computing are projected to increase significantly over the next 7 years.
• This demand affects in particular the areas of artificial intelligence & machine learning as well as data management and cloud platform expertise.

3. Training for future employees in Styrian enterprises in the area of data science & cloud computing: 

• Around half of future positions will be filled with non-academic staff.
• Styrian organizations consider training in data science / cloud computing to be of importance.
• There is no preference between a university degree or one of a technical college. A masters degree seems to be of more relevance than a bachelor.
