The 17th Summer School on Advanced Studies of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells and Hydrogen, co-organized by TU Graz and Yokohama National University, was held in Graz and brought together 57 participants and 18 lecturers. Participants came from Japan (with 20 attendees), across Europe and even Colombia, creating a truly international platform for enhancing expertise and exchanging ideas.

Renowned professors from Japan, Austria, and beyond delivered lectures on a wide range of interdisciplinary topics, covering everything from fuel cell fundamentals to hydrogen production and applications.

The program also featured an engaging workshop and a poster session with more than 30 contributions, fostering lively discussions and collaborations. The next edition, organized by Prof. Mitsushima, will take place from 31 August – 5 September 2026 at Yokohama National University.
