At this year's AIChE Annual Meeting in Orlando (FL, USA), CEET's broad spectrum of research topics were represented by talks and posters.

The working group of Tim Zeiner gave talks on modelling of thermodynamics (Gottfried Segner, Stefan Wagner) and mass transport (Roland Nagl, Matthias Singer). Research activities on multiphase processes in the Taylor-Couette Disk Contactor (TCDC, working group of Susanne Lux and Matthäus Siebenhofer) were presented by talks of Rafaela Greil and Georg Rudelstorfer. Posters on electrochemical engineering (working group of Viktor Hacker) about the alkaline direct ethanol fuel cell and polymer electrolyte fuel cell were exhibited by Michaela Roschger and Mario Kircher.

Besides intensive sessions, evening receptions held by international universities and research institutes gave opportunities for networking and discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. We take many great memories home and are looking forward to the next AIChE Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA, USA (27th October to 1st November 2024).
