Content: Die Bibliothek der Technischen Universität Graz lädt in Kooperation mit Austrian Transition to Open Access 2 / Teilprojekt "Predatory Publishing", am 18. Juni 2024 von 13:00-17:30 zu einem Nachmittag des Austausches über den Wandel in der wissenschaftlichen Kommunikation und dessen Auswirkungen auf gute wissenschaftliche Praxis und Qualitätssicherung ein.
Wie steht es um die Qualitätssicherung wissenschaftlicher Publikationen? Phänomene wie Predatory Publishing oder das strittige Thema der Seriosität von Mass Open Access Publishern wie MDPI oder Frontiers werfen immer wieder Fragen nach der Qualität in der wissenschaftlichen Kommunikation auf. Diesen Fragen wird in Impulsvorträgen, einem praxisorientierten Workshop und Diskussionen nachgegangen, um diese Themen zu verorten und aktuelle Praxis sowie Standards zu reflektieren.
