Welcome to the Course Catalogue of the GreenChips-EDU project that brings together 7 European universities, 6 companies and 2 research institutions, with the aim of training new specialists in the field of microelectronics.
Our courses focus on the education of sustainable and energy-efficient microchips. From the fundamentals of microelectronics to eco-design, microsystems design, and power electronics, our curriculum is designed to provide students and professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in this rapidly evolving field. The courses cover:
-
Skills in microelectronic system design, integrated circuit & printed circuit board design
-
Expertise in sustainable chip manufacturing (raw materials processing, elimination of industrial waste, minimizing energy consumption, etc.).
-
Knowledge in energy efficiency aspects (power electronics, power supply, etc.), the principles of responsible technology manufacturing.
-
Social, ethical and environmental implications of the semiconductor industry.
Our learners delve into the complexities of creating environmentally conscious microchips while exploring innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Our goal is to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders in sustainable technology.
