Laurenz Theuerkauf is a project assistant and master’s student at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision at Graz University of Technology. His research interests are augmented reality, virtual reality, computer graphics and UX. He received his bachelor’s degree in software development and business management 2014 from Graz University of Technology. He currently works on the Magellan project to enhance the creativity of game designers by establishing a web platform for cost-effective authoring, publishing, executing, and experiencing location based games.
For his master’s thesis he works on authoring and training experiences within virtual reality, utilizing room scale VR of the HTC Vive and full body motion tracking capabilities of Microsoft’s Kinect.
