Martin Urschler is currently contributing as an external lecturer at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision on the Technical University of Graz (TU-Graz). He studied Telematics at TU-Graz and finished his PhD thesis in Computer Science at the same university. At the moment Martin is working on medical image analysis related projects with special regard to forensic applications in the context of the ongoing collaboration between Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Clinical Forensic Imaging, Graz – which is Martin’s employer - and Prof. Horst Bischof at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision. So far he has following qualifications: MSc, PhD. He further is the PI of a common FWF project at the two collaborating institutes. The research interests of Martin lie in medical image analysis, medical computer vision, medical and forensic application of machine learning algorithms.
