Science, Technology and Society (STS) Unit

We  conduct inter- and transdisciplinary research to better understand societal and environmental  implications of technology development and to improve the  alignment of technology innovation with societal needs.  

Research activities include e.g. technology assessment, ELSA (ethical, legal and social aspects) studies, feminist studies, science, technology and society studies (STS), sustainability studies, policy analysis, and studies of the history of science and technology.
