Research Structure

Our 14 research groups are engaged in basic research with (big) data at its core and mindful of its effects on the Environment (Business & Society):


Ranging from (1) immersive environments, game design, technology enhanced learning, and (social) network analysis in which behavior data, human generated data, and personalization are in focus; to (2) visual analytics, knowledge discovery, and data management in which unstructured data, natural language, and time series play the/a major role.
