Graz BCI-Lab Travel Award

The Graz BCI-Lab is accepting travel grant applications for the 7th GBCIC in Graz, Austria, September 18-22, 2017. Five travel grants for Euro 1,000 each are available on a competitive basis to Master’s or PhD degree students which present their research at the GBCIC.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program
  • Research paper or poster must have been accepted for presentation
  • Applicant must be registered to the conference and must personally present the paper or poster

Applications in English should be submitted by May 31 2017 by uploading a single PDF file via DropBox File Request. The PDF file must include the following documents:

  • Application form (download here)
  • Letter of motivation (100 word statement explaining why the applicant should get the travel award )

Winners will be notified by email by June 30 2017!

Here are the rules:

  • You have 6 minutes time!
  • You cannot use slides or technical presentation gadgets!
  • You can just use words and props!

Ready to take on the BCI Science Slam challenge? If so, then apply here. The best candidates will be selected for presentation at the GBCIC 2017. By the way, the winner gets a cash prize of Euro 350,- and a trophy sponsored by NIRX

Student Oral Presentation Award (by Brainpropducts)

Are you a Master's or PhD degree student and was your paper selected as oral presentation at GBCIC 2017? When this is the case then apply of the best student oral presentation award here. The winner will receive a cash price of Euro 300,- and a trophy. The award is sponsored by Brainproducts.
